2025–26 Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), Title II: Adult Education Family Literacy Act (AEFLA)

This is to notify grantees that the due date for the CASAS Implementation Training has been extended to Friday, February 13, 2026. If you have not already completed this activity, please register online at  California Adult Ed Training. Please contact CASAS at info@casas.org with any questions.

Funding Update

We had good news last week with the passage in the House of the Labor-HHS-ED appropriations bill that included level funding for WIOA programs. Given the potential government shutdown, the Senate's course of action by January 30, 2026, is uncertain. While WIOA funding levels are unlikely to change, we will continue to provide updates as we become aware of developments.
